Join Longhorn Corvette Club at a new venue, Texas A&M Central Texas for a fun autocross and peoples choice car show. We are raising money for the Campus Cupboard. Thanks to our sponsors all but $5 of your registration fee goes to the Campus Cupboard, a food pantry for students.

 

Registration covers both the autocross and car show. Pre-registration is encouraged as the autocross is limited to 30 participants.

 

Schedule

 

8 to 9 AM: We will be setting up the course and getting ready for the show.

8:30 AM to 10 AM: Registration and Tech

9:30 AM: Peoples Choice Car Show starts

10:00 AM: Registration and tech closes

11:00 AM: Last ballot in for car show

11:30 AM: car Show awards and drivers meeting for autocross.

12:00 PM: Parade laps and laps for novices to autocross where experienced drivers can ride along with you.

3:30 PM: Last car out on the autocross course

3:45 PM: Awards for autocross

4 PM: Clean up

 

Food Truck: We are hoping to get a food truck to provide breakfast and lunch. We will let all pre-registrants know ahead of time. Your own food and beverages are allowed.


NCCC RULE - NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES, DRUGS, OR DRONES ALLOWED DURING THE EVENT. IF YOU GET CAUGHT, YOU WILL BE ESCORTED FROM THE PROPERTY.


University Rule -NO BURNOUTS, DOUGHNUTS, OR OTHER MANEUVERS TO LEAVE MARKS ON THE PAVEMENT ON PURPOSE- YOU WILL PAY TO HAVE IT CLEANED. You will be escorted from the property.


ALL PARTICIPANTS, SPECTATORS, VOLUNTEERS, AND EVENT STAFF ARE REQUIRED TO SIGN A WAIVER.


REGISTRATION IS NON-REFUNDABLE. EVENT WILL BE HELD RAIN OR SHINE.


Trailer Parking Available

 

Host Hotel: There is no host hotel for this event. We suggest staying near the intersection of Hwy 14 and Hwy 195.

 

 

Autocross

 

This is a fun autocross. Trophies will be given for first through third places for men and first through third for women who have the fastest time of day.


The number of runs is dependent on the number of entrants and weather


This is a low-speed autocross—no speeds will exceed 80 mph.


All drivers must show a valid driver’s license per National Council of Corvette Clubs rules. Passengers are required to be 16 years old or older. No passengers allowed in the back seats.


Max two drivers per vehicle.


Trucks, SUVs, crossovers, and other vehicles that are tall or have a high center of gravity will not be allowed to autocross. You can still participate in the car show.


NCCC Tech Inspection and classifications will be used. You can find the info here on what is inspected , the helmet, and dress requirements. - The SA2015 or SA2020 is Highly Recommended


All non-Corvette owners who wish to participate in autocross—you will also have your cars examined per NCCC Safety Rules to ensure they pass safety requirements. Your class will be x-class.


If your car does not pass tech, we cannot refund your money since you can still enter the car show.

 

 

Peoples Choice Car Show

 

There are no car classes in this Peoples Choice Car Show. You select the Top 3 cars that you like and put their placard number on your ballot. The Top 6 vote earners will receive trophies.

 

 


 

 

 

 

Directions: Take I-35 North then go west on TX Hwy 195. Then take exit TX Hwy 201/ S Clear Creek RD/Stagecoach RD in Killeen. Turn left on E Campus DR to Leadership Place. Mapping software may want to take you on I-14 but it is under a lot of construction at this time. So take TX Hwy 195 instead.

If you want to pay cash or check, please select pay on-site option. 

If you do not have a permanent number with the Southwest Region of the National Council of Corvette Clubs--we will issue you a number at registration. 

 

If you are an LCC member, please login to the portal first then register.

 

Dont forget you need a Snell-rated helmet made after 11-1-2011, thats motorcycle ( SM) or auto (SA) rated to participate in the autocross.
